Normandy is probably one of my favourite places for a little weekend getaway from Paris. There are lots of places to visit: the large port town Le Havre, Mont Saint Michel (which is a must see in my opinion), Rouen, Giverny with Claude Monet’s house and garden full of flowers and of course Etretat with stunning views of the cliffs.
Cherry – Cherie is Fauchon’s new collection for the warm sunny weather that is coming. It is a flowery and fruity delight with cherry and cherry blossom deserts, a special box of macarons and a tea and jam perfect for a summer afternoon tea or as a lovely gift.
Easter in Paris is all about chocolate and I am not one to complain about that! In fact my favourite thing about Easter back when I was a little kid was receiving a chocolate bunny and bitting its ears off. :))
It comes as no surprise that I love Fauchon’s Melting Choc Collection for Easter, it has something for everyone and it would satisfy any chocolate lover’s dream.
Spring is my favorite season in Paris. The first time I visited Paris was in April and that is when I fell in love with this city. Pretty blooms appear everywhere with amazing backgrounds like Notre-Dame, the interior garden of the Petite Palais or the magnolias in the Palais Royal! These are just a few of the places where you’re going to find pink blossoms.
Hello! I am so happy that spring is finally showing signs here in Paris! Today I prepared for you a list of my favorite special croissants in Paris – the ones that are flavored or filled. Then the second part is going to be all about the classic buttery croissants.
There is nothing better than waking up in the morning with a cup of coffee and a croissant, so head out to get yourself a croissant, and enjoy the post over a cup of coffee!
I love Madeleines! I think they are the perfect treat next to your afternoon tea or coffee, and they are really easy to make.
You can do the classic buttery recipe, or fill them with lemon curd, but I wanted to flavor them with passion fruit and poppy seeds. It is a really lovely combination, sweet and sour, and for an extra indulgence you can cover them in white chocolate like I did.
I hope you’re gonna try the recipe and enjoy them too!
I love living in Paris, the streets, the city vibe, the food, the people and the pastries of course. But from time to time I feel the need to escape the busy city and visit different parts of France.
I have seen pictures of Colmar before and I was always impressed by how pretty it looks so when I found the perfect cozy apartment on Airbnb the decision was made. I prefer this type of accommodation to hotels because it is always more comfortable especially since we travel with our golden retriever, Sophie.
Me and my husband met just a few days before Valentine’s day so we celebrate our anniversary instead but each year we like to do something special and this year I decided to try and choose the most romantic desserts in Paris to share with you.
